KuBiZ

KuBiZ offers a place for all those who want to stand up for low-hierarchy, self-organized and emancipatory ways of life. It offers a free space for self-organized activities, creativity and social commitment beyond racist, anti-Semitic and authoritarian patterns of thought and action. Cooperation and mutual help are central elements of KuBiZ's organizational structure. The aim is to include as many of the projects in the building as possible in the self-organization process in an integrated organizational model. Sharing resources and exchanging know-how and experience form an important basis for emancipatory projects. In addition to cultural projects, such as a multifunctional cultural space with theater, concerts and film screenings, there is an educational area with political youth and adult education.

  • Bike workshop

    Description
B.K.N.E. is a bicycle self-help workshop where people can repair their bicycles themselves and have access to tools, used replacement parts and support. The workshop can also be used as an infrastructure and network for various groups that carry out bicycle-related projects and it allows various bicycle-related workshops to take place here. In the workshop, a lot is recycled and reused: a relatively large stock of spare parts and materials made from old bicycle parts and useful materials is available. We run the workshop as a collective in which decisions are made by consensus. It is important to us that the place is queer-friendly and that transphobia, sexism and macker behavior are not tolerated there. In the workshop, people should be able to learn from each other in solidarity and no self-appointed experts should tell anyone how things are done. We would be delighted if you came along with your bikes and/or wanted to join us.
