BEGiNE- meeting place and culture for women e.V.

Since 1986, the "BEGiNE-Kultur-Frauen" have been organizing a monthly changing, interdisciplinary cultural programme with an international focus. These varied cultural events with music (rock, pop, world music, jazz, chanson, serious music), cabaret, theater, readings by well-known and unknown female authors, film screenings, slide shows, information and discussion events and exhibitions present current developments in women's cultural work.

In addition, women can expand their knowledge, discuss their political views and plan joint activities in various courses, educational and information events. At the same time, BEGiNE-Kultur promotes the exchange between women working in different disciplines, women working in science and the arts and women artists from different fields. The opportunity to make contacts often leads to new working relationships. In addition to the cultural sector, BEGiNE is used as a meeting place for various women's groups and initiatives.

BEGiNE-Kultur also offers the opportunity to organize events independently in the event room. The room is available for workshops, conferences, seminars, association and club meetings, self-help groups as well as dance and theater groups.
