Asylothek Berlin

The Asylothek, short for Asylbewerberheimbibliothek, is intended to be a meeting place for language teaching and knowledge transfer with a view to cultural and social exchange between adults and children. Here, residents not only have access to language books and information about Germany and Berlin, but can also borrow books in their mother tongue or read and learn on site. In addition, asylotheques function as lively meeting places where workshops take place, people play together and make music. We are committed to an enlightened coexistence of all groups of people and would like to provide an introduction to everyday life in Germany.
